Skins

MCCompanion includes a skin editor. Your skins are stored on your own device, so they stay with you and do not depend on an account.

My Skins

Open the Skins tab in the app to see the skins saved on your device. From there you can:

  • Create a new skin or open an existing one in the editor
  • Rename skins
  • Delete skins you no longer need
  • Export a skin as a PNG file

Skin editor

The built-in skin editor lets you modify any skin pixel by pixel:

  • Tap Edit on any skin in your list
  • Use the color picker and brush tools to paint
  • Toggle between body parts: head, body, arms, legs, and outer layers
  • Preview changes in the live 3D viewer
  • Tap Save when done

Using a skin in Minecraft

MCCompanion does not change the skin inside the game. Export the skin as a PNG and choose it in Minecraft's own skin screen on your phone or tablet. Consoles do not offer a way to import a custom skin.

Tips

  • Skins are 64x64 pixels (classic format) or 128x128 (HD, Bedrock compatible)
  • Transparent pixels are supported for hair, accessories, and overlays
  • Java and Bedrock use slightly different formats. MCCompanion handles the conversion automatically
